Finding a voice through music

There’s a unique kind of honesty that lives in music - an honesty that can’t always be spoken, but can always be played. For one musician, the guitar isn’t just an instrument; it’s a personal language, a companion, and a canvas for expression.

Sam came to me wanting something different to share this passion on his social media channels, its quite the 180 from his day job but an individuals passions quite often are.

I decided on providing a dramatic and moody light, highlighting the contours of his face and hands, asking that his gaze is downcast toward the guitar, emphasising concentration and the emotional connection he has with his instrument, losing himself in that passion he holds so dear
